4th of July – 2026

Dear Webster Lake Association Members,

We are excited to announce that we are trying something new for this year’s July 4th Boat Parade to add a little friendly competition to our holiday celebration!

The theme for this year is: Celebrating 250 years of Red, White and Blue

This year, we will have three independent judges on a boat stationed in two locations along the parade route. They will be scoring the boats based on a specific set of criteria (see attachment) as you pass by SLOWLY to allow them enough time to record your boat number and scores. All the scores will be tallied at the end of the boat parade and winners announced on the spot. Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners!

Here is everything you need to know to participate:

Registration & Numbers: Every boat must have an assigned registration number. You can pick up your number and a copy of the official parade rules during Breakfast on the Beach between 8:00 – 11AM at Griffin Beach on the morning of July 4th.

Parade Timing: The parade will officially start at 2:30 PM on July 4th.

Route: The parade will move in a clockwise direction, starting and ending at Griffin Beach.

Prizes: Checks will be handed out to each winner via kayaker at the end of the parade. First prize is $250, Second place $150 , and Third place $75

Get creative, have fun, and let’s make this the best parade yet! Happy 250th USA!

If you plan to participate, we look forward to seeing you at Breakfast on the Beach, 8-11am July 4th to grab your entry number and parade rules (attached here).

Best regards,
Webster Lake Association
