Ice Out 2020

Hi Everyone,
I hope this message finds all of you doing well in these times of social distancing and stay at home orders. Please remember to stay connected to family, friends and neighbors. Technology has been a great tool for many of us to see kids and grandkids faces. They bring a smile to my face.
Another thing that makes me smile is the glistening waters of Webster Lake. Yesterday the winds kicked up and broke up the ice and pushed it down to the south shore of the lake. The boat launch area was still blocked late yesterday afternoon, however today it is open. There were a couple kayaks out on the lake. If you take a look at the web cam, you will still see some ice close to the shore, but that will probably disappear tomorrow with the predicted rain and temperatures around 40 degrees. Since you can launch a boat and get to the other end of the lake, today will be the official ice out day! Spring is here, warmer temperatures are on their way and we all hope to celebrate summer here at our little piece of paradise.
Take care everyone,

Val
