Marrapese Scholarship

There is a scholarship founded by longtime Webster Lake residents and friends that helps keep our waters clean.

The following from the Plymouth State Facebook page describes the scholarship:
This year’s Marrapese “Keep NH Lakes Clear” Scholarship is supporting a student whose work is already making an impact locally at Webster Lake. This Environmental Science & Policy student is researching cyanobacteria blooms affecting New Hampshire’s lakes—helping protect the health of our ecosystems and communities.

The student described his opportunity: “It was exciting to get to do science and develop research on a topic that directly impacts not only myself as a NH resident, but also the well-being of NH’s lakes and ecology. This opportunity makes all the difference for a college student like me.”
