4th of July – 2023

Hi Everyone,

Before writing about the 4th of July activities, I have sad news to share. Our long time WLA board member, Marcia Feener passed away on Friday afternoon. Marcia loved Webster Lake and that passion came through in the ways she volunteered at many WLA events and serving as a board of director. My heart is particularly saddened as Marcia and her family have been our lake neighbors and friends for over 50 years. She will be dearly missed. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts.

The annual WLA boat parade will be next Saturday, July 1st at 2:30pm. Boats should gather at Griffin Beach and travel in a counterclockwise direction around the lake. It is always fun to see how everyone decorates their boats. If you don’t want to decorate your boat and participate in the parade, decorate your shoreline and be an enthusiastic spectator:) Let’s hope for great weather! The rain date will be Sunday, July 2nd at noon.
